Do you want to contribute to science? We are always looking for participants! Find out more about the scientific research conducted at the Behavioural Science Lab, the lab for social and behavioural research of the University of Amsterdam.

The Behavioural Science Lab uses the latest techniques in the field of the behavioural sciences. These include for example computer based tasks, MRI research, EEG, eye tracking and Virtual Reality. The researchers doing their research at the BSL come from various research disciplines, namely Psychology, Communication Science, Educational Sciences and Social Sciences. All research at the Behavioural Science lab has been approved by the Ethical Review Board of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural sciences, or by an external Medical Ethics Committee. 

Reimbursement

For many studies in the Behavioural Science lab, participants receive compensation.  There are also studies that are only available to first year students who participate within the curriculum. On the registration page of the study you will always find a description of the fee for the study in question.
