Measuring heartbeat, skin conduction, muscle tension or blood pressure are all part of the physiology measurements. This can be used as a measure of anxiety or stress.

The FMG Lab has several setups in which various physiological measurements can be combined. For example, ECG measurements, GSR (or skin conductance) and EMG (or muscle tension). These measurements can be combined with electrical stimulation (Digitimer) or EEG measurements during experiments. The labs have a separate room for the participants in which they can perform an experiment in full concentration. During the experiment, the researcher is in a nearby room where the measurements are monitored.
