The GIS Lab is a centre of Geographic Information Systems expertise and resources. Its aim is to encourage applying a spatial angle and incorporating spatial analysis tools to fundamental questions across the social sciences. The staff provide advice and support to researchers across the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Scienced (FMG), offer short intensive classes on GIS and mapping methods, and provide the necessary software and hardware for advanced spatial analysis.
