The BSL has two multifunctional sleep labs where participants can sleep in a soundproof room during an experiment.

The labs are quiet and modernly furnished with good beds to give participants the most pleasant stay possible and to imitate the normal setting in which someone sleeps. The labs have a TMSi EEG setup (64 or 128 channels) where comfortable EEG caps can be used. It is also possible to make video recordings of the participants. The researcher is located in the control room right next to the bedrooms where the participants are located and can monitor the progress in various ways. There is also the possibility for the researcher to sleep. Furthermore, there is a living room, toilet, shower and small kitchen, which makes it like a small appartment.
