The Behavioural Science Lab has a fully equipped EEG lab. The EEG labs are optimally equipped for carrying out research in combination with other techniques such as physiological measurements and eye tracking.

The EEG labs of the Behavioural Science Lab are spacious and optimally equipped for carrying out EEG research. In the EEG Labs, we work with an EEG setup of BioSemi, which makes it possible to simultaneously measure brain activity with 64 electrodes (up to 256 channels technically possible) with a sampling frequency of 2048Hz. The PC's run on Windows 10 and we support stimulus presentation via different software (PsychoPy, Presentation, E-Prime, PsychToolbox etc.). But also a more costumized set up is possible.
All labs have a separate quiet room for the participant on which he or she can do the experiments in full concentration. In the adjacent test leader room there are several monitors to keep track of the data acquisition and stimulus presentation. Furthermore, there is a TV/camera to observe the room where the participant is located.
